14′ x 24′ Large oversized Persian Sarouk Rug

Vintage mid 20th century Persian Sarouk large oversized carpet. Highly refined overall motif in a more unique design. Partially covered floral bouquet field. As opposed to having an allover pattern or perhaps medallion, this particualr example demonstrates a more sophisitcated, European influence motif. Subtle concentric design denisty increases toward the middle field of the carpet as a faux, or shadowed medallion. Very subtle and special twist on this particular type of Sarouk, sometimes known as “American Sarouk.”
