12′ x 24′ Large Oversized Persian Kerman

ca. 1950. A large oversize Persian Kerman. A relic marking the new age of the ‘American Kerman,’ one of the most famous Oriental rug designs of the 20th century. Unusually large size with partially ‘floating’ border, delicately sprawling into the deep large and open red field. Elongated medallion flanked on either end with decorative and ornate floral arrangements.
