ca. 1940′s/50′s. Large Oversized Persian Kerman carpet. Large centered medallion with unusual covered ivory field. Highly ornamented with milfleur motif; intricate and expertly spaced. Floral bouquets yield to the ivory field in a strikingly terse manner, rendering masterful execution of design and use of negative space to outline an extraordinary sense of a larger medallion.
